After days of searching and hacking, I finally managed to get this program call GetDataBack for FAT to scan and retrieve whatever is left on the harddisk. Sad to said, most of the mp3s are corrupted and most likely will not be restored to its original state even with an advanced repair program. Looking at the bright side, I supposed I will either redownload it or worst come to worst, get the original copy!

I must admit that the photos taken are not of acceptable standards. My justification for this is because of my stupidity for not knowing that the digital camera has actually a zooming constraint and sad enough, I exceed that limit. The following photos are all that had ‘survive’ from the dumb act.

At last! A savior for Java n00bs had arrived. So what’s the fuss all about? It practically proves to you that not all technical books are dry and boring. But what really make this book a stand out its that it teaches you how to actually learn the subject and understand the underlying concepts. Likewise, explanation is done in the simplest form, which greatly reduced the confusions caused by those CHIM CHIM technical jargons. Nevertheless, the book really MAKES you think!

Currently, I assumed that this title is only be made availabe via the local polys and unis library. So it will be sometime before hitting the public libraries shelves. For more info, please go to o’reilly.

For your information, this book is currently selling @ SGD62+ at my school bookshop, which I have check is SGD20+ cheaper than those being sold @ Kinokuniya or Borders!

At first, I actually wanted to form a mercenary group to protect players whom have difficulty completing a quest due to the present of a pvp threat. But on second thoughts, I really can't stand it any longer. Moreover, I paid SGD$26+ per month to Blizzard is for making myself happy and not to make my blood boil. Thus, I sold all my items and gave it to a friend and immediately changed to a PvE realm. For those who doesn't know whats the difference between the two, PvP and 'Player vs Environment (PvE)', its actually some kind of gaming rule whereby the former allows both sides of the factions to attack one another without any significant restrictions. But for the latter, attack can be void by the player except in battleground. This is actually suits those whom like to play their quest in PEACE!

Anyway, time is not wasted from my previous one, at least not the experiences and values gained.

At last I get to laid hands on this long awaited book from my school library. For quite some time, I’ve been seaching a book that teaches me how to install and configure Ubuntu. More than three months ago, I got myself two version of the breezy badger verison of the Operating System all the way from the US. Surprisingly, it doesn’t cost me a single cent to get them through the Internet. Everything is somehow paid for by a sponsor whom I heard had pump in his own money to support this OS. And mind you its not a mere hundered thousand dollars but a few millions! I haven’t really touch on this book yet. Maybe I would get it done this week. Wo! That will be alot of work to do…Backup data, reformat, dual boot…blah blah blah. Oh gosh! I might not be able to play WoW for a day. But no choice, holidays are hard to come by, so does free time to pursue my interest.

Just watch it today with a friend. The intial plan was actually to do it on the premiere but tickets were sold out within a few hours. I’m not really good at giving film reviews but personally I feel that the storyline is almost the same as the game itself, the monsters are well animated, the intended atmosphere is more or less there. But still, its not as scary as the game itself. Maybe for those who somehow disliked or scared to watch it, but yet still curious, you can check this movie out at wikipedia.

…we were lead into an auditorium for a talk on the company upcoming products which lasted three and a half hours! When the talking eventually ended, we could finally lay our hands on the sandwiches and drinks that're awaiting us at the lobby. My initial plan was to eat and drink a little before leaving but due to the sudden rain, I had no choice but to stay for a while more. Throughout that period, I repeatedly gobble up almost 10 sandwiches of different flavors. For your info, there're also vegetarian sandwiches provided! As for the drinks, it's entirely FREE FLOW! Don't be mistaken that coffee and tea are serve only. There are actually also two big fridge storing all sorts of canned and packet drinks for everyone to consume. This kind of scenario actually more or less can tell you how filthy rich Microsoft is…

But all I can said is that I can actually buy it even cheaper @ a hidden game shop in Sim Lim Square. 4. Term Test is killing me. I fear my EMaths will flung! There’s really insufficient time for me to complete all the questions.
5. Still have not receive the pay check as promised earlier. How am I going to participate in the Great Singapore Sales and watch the upcoming movie: Silent Hill (15 June 06)
